I can’t believe it’s been a year and a half since we saw Lauren for her High School Rep session! Her bubbly personality made it so much fun to spend the afternoon together at this perfect springtime backdrop. We met at Mercer Arboretum & Botanic Gardens in Humble, TX. It’s been about 11 years since Sonny and I last visited these gardens to take our engagement photos… How time flies!! Her boyfriend of two years, Wes, and her mom, Lisa, joined us for the session. Lauren let her hair grow out and it became a feature in most of these gorgeous portraits. Well, her natural smiles help, too!

Lauren truly understands the value of preserving memories through photography because she is an editor for the Klein Yearbook. (We’d love to see a copy!) She’s heading to Houston Baptist University in the fall and can’t wait to be a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. WOW, that is a special and dedicated calling! Sonny and I know and respect many nurses that we trusted with the care of our very preemie twins. We are proud of you, Lauren, for choosing such a gracious path. Lauren is looking for a dorm, but I’m sure her family, Wes, and friends are happy she is staying close to home!
