When your OB says babies arrive on their own schedule, they aren’t joking!! It’s completely possible that Connor’s birth certificate reads something like this.
Place of Birth: a. County – Harris, b. City of Birth – Houston, c. Name of Hospital or Institution – Chevron Station
Connor decided not to wait until his mom, Courtney, and dad, Bryan, made it to the Nativiti Birth Center. (I love that the directions page is titled “Conveniently located in The Woodlands, Texas.” Nope, it’s obviously not as convenient for some parents and babies as a convenient store!) In fact, Nativiti is the same place we toured just after learning I was pregnant the first time and then quickly switched to Memorial Hermann The Woodlands when we discovered we were expecting twins. Other than Connor and our kids, I’m sure his parents would agree that this is a wonderful, and a preferred place, to birth your children.![]()
Check out this story with video on Click2Houston before checking out some favorites from Connor’s 4 day old gallery.
It was so much fun talking to you about his birth and hanging out with your family!!
This blue blanket knitted by Connor’s grandmother is incredibly soft.

He was very alert for a newborn. He loved the close ups and the sound of the camera. Good thing his daddy is a photographer, too!

Peaceful baby.

You know the tiny toes are coming at some point!

And always a fun one… Touchdown!
